Singer Beyoncé shared a striking photo of herself nearly naked riding a silver horse ahead of the premiere of her new album “Renaissance,” DPA reported.
In the photo, which is said to be the cover of her highly-anticipated seventh solo album, the pop superstar wears nothing but silver jewelery wrapped around her body and sits astride a luminescent silver figure on a horse.
Last week, the 40-year-old singer released the single “Break My Soul” from the album, which is expected to be released this month.
Beyoncé posted the photo on social media on Thursday and wrote:
“Making this album gave me space to dream and allowed me to escape during a time that was frightening for the whole world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous when little was happening. My intention was to create a safe place. A place free from perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, to break free, to feel the freedom”.
The album “Renaissance” will be released after 2016’s “Lemonade”, which was accompanied by a 65-minute film and conquered the charts in many countries. In her successful music career, Beyoncé has had three chart-topping albums and five UK chart-topping singles.
The singer, who has been married to rapper and businessman Jay-Z since 2008, made history when she became the woman with the most awards at the Grammy Awards ceremony last year.
She won four of the nine nominations then and now has 28 of the prestigious awards, one more than Alison Krauss, a country and bluegrass artist.
