This was stated by the chairman of the BSP, Mihail Mikov, in front of the full hall of the Drama Theater in Pleven. He explained that for this one year, despite the temptations that the BSP had for power, it did not reach for it. “We did not vote for BGN 16 billion debt and the meager budgets for secondary education to go to private schools as well. We did not vote to divide the sick into socially significant and socially insignificant. We did not support raising the retirement age,” stressed Mikov. He is adamant that those who gave their trust last year were not deceived.
“I am glad that here there is a good fusion between different formations, good cooperation and partnership. We are here to support this union”, said the chairman of the BSP and warned: “Beware of those who gain trust for one election, for one power”.

“Many people don’t know me and wonder who I am, but they should know that when I make a promise, I keep it.” This was stated by the candidate for mayor of Pleven, supported by the BSP, Anton Georgiev, and made five promises.
“I will be a worthy mayor, I will not forget the villages, I will work with heart and soul for this municipality, I will change the administration in the municipality to make it workable and I promise you that I will be the next mayor of Pleven,” said Georgiev categorically. He thanked for the powerful arm of the BSP, for the support and trust. “I believe that together we will reach the final point – winning the local elections,” concluded Anton Georgiev.
Tsvetko Tsvetkov: Only the BSP will work energetically, honorably and sincerely with the voters
“There is no other participant for the local elections who will work more energetically, honestly and sincerely with the voters than the BSP”, stated the chairman of the BSP-Pleven Tsvetko Tsvetkov. According to him, Pleven should have a different appearance – that of a leading city in Bulgaria in economic and spiritual terms. “We can make this turnaround because we have three strong levers in our hands in this campaign – a worthy candidate for mayor, a strong list of candidates for municipal councilors, combining competence, energy, youth, political experience and listening to people’s problems,” said he too. As the third lever, Tsvetkov indicated the clear management program, built on the basis of five priorities, which is also the number on the ballot in Pleven. “We will make this change together for the sake of young people, working people and our elderly fellow citizens,” concluded Tsvetko Tsvetkov.
The event was attended by the people’s representatives from the PG of BSP LEFT BULGARIA Rumen Gechev and Vasil Antonov, Krasimir Premyanov – chairman of the Union of Thracian Societies, Stefan Nachev – chairman of the political club Trakia, the coalition partners from “Nova Zora”, as well as the candidates for small settlements seats and municipal councilors.
