In addition to the typical symptoms above, there are symptoms are not typical Covid-19 that occurs in the elderly. Anastasia said that there was a change in consciousness that made the elderly tend to be sleepy, talk gibberish, don’t connect, sleep more often, and suddenly wet the bed.

Symptoms of Covid-19 in the elderly can also be painful chest tightness, diarrhea, vomiting, not wanting to eat, weakness getting worse, to high fever. Symptoms of a stroke can also occur such as weakness of the session, slurred speech, slanted mouth, and seizures.

The elderly can also fall which causes severe pain, suspicion of fractures, and even fainting. According to Anastasia, these conditions are often found in the clinics where she practices. “So indeed the patient was only taken because this week he was only sleepy, it turned out to be positive.
