He pointed out that cartilage is an organ that does not have blood vessels, but blood reaches it in small quantities through a thin membrane around it, so any hole that may cause an infection in the cartilage will be difficult to treat, due to the difficulty of the antibiotic being effective in sufficient quantities to treat the infection, due to the lack of presence of antibiotics. Blood reaches this place, which may cause complications that may lead to the occurrence of blood or pus accumulation, or damage to the tissues themselves. In severe cases, the matter may lead to erosion of the cartilage of the auricle, and in this case, permanent deformity of the ear may occur.
He pointed out that in the event of an infection, one should go to a specialized surgeon to perform surgery under general anesthesia to remove the throat, open the abscess and clean it, while placing a compression bandage on it to prevent blood accumulation.
