The Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) asks doctors and health workers to be wary of patients with symptoms monkey pox and avoid direct contact.

For symptoms, according to him, it is almost similar to other viral infections such as fever, muscle aches and others.
“But the most particular is the rash or changes in the skin and enlarged lymph nodes, those are specific symptoms. But other symptoms are the same as infection as usual,” he said.

The way to avoid it, according to Jusram, is to avoid physical contact with the patient, if it happens in the future Berau District.
