Prospective passengers Whoosh Fast Car experienced fraud when exchanging travel tickets. PT KCIC urges prospective Whoosh Fast Train passengers to buy tickets on the official KCIC website.
“We have provided a number of official channels for purchasing tickets, so that people can easily get Whoosh fast train tickets. We will also continue to develop these official channels so that service to the community is better,” said KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa in a written press statement, Sunday (19/11/2023).
The public can order tickets on the ticket.kcic.co.id site, Ticket Vending Machines and official counters at stations as well as partner applications such as Access by KAI, Livin by Mandiri, and BRImo. Eva appealed to the public to be careful of all forms of fraud when ordering tickets.
“This appeal was given because there was an incident where a prospective passenger wanted to exchange a ticket through a transaction from one of the ticket sales applications that does not collaborate with KCIC. After checking at the counter, the passenger’s name was not registered and there was no ticket purchase transaction with the passenger’s data,” Eva said.
Eva said KCIC is not responsible for all conditions or losses arising from ordering high-speed train tickets if the transaction is made outside the official site. Currently, Whoosh Fast Train tickets can be ordered starting 7 days before departure.
The public can get official information regarding KCIC through KCIC customer service at the station, email to [email protected], telephone 121, website kcic.co.id, and KCIC social media on the ID Fast Train.
Eva added that the public can report to KCIC if they find a site or party offering illegal Whoosh Fast Train ticket sales. His party will follow up on the report.
“KCIC will continue to educate the public regarding channels, procedures and conditions for use. The public is still advised to be alert and careful in all information received to avoid fraud under the guise of the Whoosh Fast Train service,” said Eva.
