Beware of DHF, president of Jepara DPRD encourages health facilities to optimize services

JEPARA, Lingkarjateng.id Speaker of the Japanese Parliament Haizul Ma’arif Ask Department of Health (Dinkes) called on the public to be vigilant against the spread of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) during extreme weather conditions.

“We ask the Health Bureau to warn the public and anticipate the spread of the disease dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF). Don’t let the Aedes Agepty mosquito reproduce in the residents’ environment,” he said Gus Haiz the familiar greeting of the President of the Jepara DPRD.

According to Gus Haiz, early warning is considered more effective and not waiting for new victims to take action. The reason is that from the information he received, the DHF cases in Jepara up to June reached 157 cases and two of them died.

“Therefore, the public must be aware of maintaining cleanliness and health conditions by carrying out the Mosquito Nest Eradication Movement (PSN). I don’t want there to be any casualties due to dengue fever and also malaria, especially in Carving City Gus Haiz explained.

He also appealed to the people of Jepara to always apply clean and healthy behavior (PHBS), so that they can avoid various kinds of diseases, including dengue.

DHF eradication implementation, he continued, can be done with 3M, namely Drain, Close and Recycle.

“3M is an important part of preventing dengue fever cases. Able to drain and close tub. So, also reuse goods or recycle waste. It’s community efforts that can be made,” he appealed.

In addition, the DPRD chairman of Jepara also asked the executive, especially the Health Bureau, hospitals and other health facilities (health facilities) to be prepared to handle patients. This includes the readiness of facilities, medical personnel, and other facilities and infrastructure so that the community is properly served and managed.

“Don’t let a patient be turned down for lack of space and so on, because it’s not right to turn down sick people for whatever reason,” he said.

Therefore, in the near future, his party plans to carry out monitoring at several health facilities and hospitals together with Jepara DPRD Commission C to check the conditions on the ground. (Lingkar Network | Muslichul Basid – Lingkar Newspaper)
