On October 23, the WeChat official account of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued a statement on the organization and personnel carrying out so-called inspection activities at enterprises in the name of the “Ecological Environment Inspectorate” of the Ecological Environment Supervision Network. Recently, some places reported that some organizations and personnel went to enterprises to carry out so-called inspection activities in the name of “ecological environment inspectors” of the Ecological Environment Supervision Network. Here, we solemnly declare:

The Ministry of Ecology and Environment has never had any form of contact with the Ecological Environment Supervision Network, and has never authorized or commissioned “ecological environment supervisors” to carry out inspection activities. The Ministry of Ecology and Environment has issued a special ecological environment law enforcement logo. Comprehensive administrative law enforcement personnel for ecological and environmental protection must present the Administrative Law Enforcement Certificate of the People’s Republic of China when entering an enterprise for inspection. The logo and certificate format are shown in the figure below. All localities and units are requested to be vigilant and guard against being deceived. If losses have been caused, please report the case clues to the public security department in a timely manner. Our department reserves the right to take corresponding legal measures.
