JAKARTA – Hackers cyber make an ad on Facebook about Clubhouse application for computer, which actually contains malware.
As quoted by Antara, this practice was discovered by TechCrunch, on Friday (9/4). They found the social networking application disguised as a computer version of the Clubhouse application to spread malware.
When clicked, the user is taken to a fake Clubhouse site and asked to download the app, which actually contains malware.

The results of an examination using the sandbox analysis method, TechCrunch found that malware from the fake Clubhouse application tried to infect an isolated machine with ransomware.
The good news is, the fake Clubhouse site that was tested was no longer functional when it opened a short time later.
Even so, there are still other fake apps disguised as Clubhouse, the official version of the audio streaming service is currently only available for the iOS operating system.
