Water helps wash, clean and maintain things. But that doesn’t mean we use it for everything. Find things in the house that shouldn’t be cleaned with water. It causes damage and loss.
wooden floors
Water seeps under the wood, causing it to swell and turn black. Even wooden tools, as cleaning them with water can cause discoloration and cracking.
Silver
It leads to more stains and silver polish is the best thing you can use.
contact lenses
The solutions used to clean contact lenses contain antimicrobial agents. And when immersed in water, this leads to the multiplication of bacteria and fungi.
skin
Using it can cause streaks and cracks, so wipe it with a soft cloth to get rid of dust. Then wipe it off with a cloth dampened with a skin moisturizing soap. And then it polishes well without washing it with water.
Bricks and marble
These surfaces are porous, so cleaning them with a little water can damage them by eroding their protective layers.
Silk fabrics and clothing
Silk is a delicate fabric that cannot be washed with water so as not to lead to the appearance of streaks and stains. Then clean it gently with a soft brush to remove dirt and grime accumulated on it. Then use a mild soap designed for silk when washing and drying.
