If you drive a Honda brand car in New York, beware of thieves, as three of its models top the list of the most stolen vehicles in 2022.
Every year the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) reveals the most stolen car models in the Country and in each of the states.
At the national level, pick-up trucks, both from Ford and Chevrolet, led the list with almost 50,000 thefts each of those models.
However, in New York the story is different.
According to the NICB, the 2021 model of the Honda CRV truck is the most stolen, accounting for 1,315 stolen units.
It is closely followed by the 2021 Honda Accord with 1,154 thefts, while the Honda Civic tallied 656 stolen vehicles.
While in New Jersey, the most stolen models are the Honda Accord, and Pick Up trucks.
In Connecticut, the three most stolen models are the Honda Accord, Honda Civic and Hyundai Elantra.
