Sometimes, serious diseases do not show their signs clearly, but their symptoms are vague, non-specific, and cannot be noticed.

Therefore, you must know the hidden signs that your health is in danger, as reported by “Eatthis”.

1- Snoring:

It may be a sign that you have sleep apnea, which is a condition associated with a variety of serious diseases, including the heart and blood vessels.

According to Harvard Medical School, sleep apnea is present in up to 83 percent of people with heart disease, and left untreated may increase the risk of death.

2- Chronic fatigue:

We are all tired, but chronic and stubborn fatigue can be a sign of many serious illnesses, including depression, cancer, heart disease and coronavirus.

The heart pumps blood to every organ in the body, and in the absence of good blood flow, especially to the brain and muscles, the body feels fatigued, so if you are suffering from severe fatigue that does not disappear with rest, talk to your doctor.

3- Unexplained weight gain:

Unexplained weight gain can be related to a condition called hypothyroidism, in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough of the hormone to make a good metabolism.

In addition to weight gain, you may have other non-specific symptoms such as fatigue or sensitivity to cold, so if you experience any of these symptoms, ask your doctor for a blood test for TSH.

4- Recurrent fungal infections:

According to the American Diabetes Association, this fungal infection is sometimes the first sign that a person has diabetes, so the American Diabetes Association recommends that adults be tested for diabetes once a year.

Diabetes can be treated with medication and lifestyle changes. Untreated diabetes may lead to heart disease, vision problems and circulation problems that can lead to amputation.

5- Drooping of the face:

Facial droop, along with other signs such as arm weakness or difficulty speaking, should be immediately diagnosed by a doctor, as it can indicate a stroke.

6- Double vision:

The sudden onset of double vision and a drooping eyelid can sometimes be the cause of an aneurysm in the brain.

7- slight changes to your nails:

If you notice changes in your nails such as bumps, nail clipping, white lines, or excessive brittleness, you may have a deficiency in iron, folic acid, vitamin A, protein or zinc.

8- Unintended Weight Loss:

Unintended weight loss may also be a sign of many types of cancer, and it may indicate cancer, because cancer cells disrupt the metabolism process that consumes energy quickly in a completely different way from the weight loss caused by a low-calorie diet.

9- high blood pressure:

According to the American Heart Association, high blood pressure is often referred to as the “silent killer” because it often has no symptoms until it causes significant damage to your heart and arteries.

10 – bleeding after brushing:

If your gums start to bleed when brushing your teeth, you should consult a dentist immediately, because this bleeding that you may see in the sink after flossing or brushing is not a small problem.

Bleeding can be a sign of gum disease, the destruction of bone and tissue due to the spread of bad bacteria under the gums and over the teeth.

Gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss, in addition to that these bad bacteria can move into the bloodstream, causing blood poisoning or infections in the organs.
