Brenda, Brandon, Kelly and the others are back in service! From this Wednesday July 29 at 9:05 p.m., TF1 begins broadcasting the parody reboot of Beverly Hills, soberly titled BH90210. A great opportunity for the actors of the cult series of the years 1990-2000, who for the most part experienced roller coaster careers and complicated personal lives.
As with the protagonists of other teenage shows such as Saved by the Bell, few of them have managed to shed their character. Only Jason Priestley, Brandon for close friends, is doing because in parallel with his acting career, he has forged – not without difficulty – a beautiful filmography as a series director. However, his career could have been stopped dead: in 2002 while taking part in a rally, an accident sent him to rehabilitation for several months.
On the female side of the cast, things weren’t easy. Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth attempted a duo comeback in their Mystery Girls series in 2014, but was unsuccessful. The first feeds especially the press for its chaotic life and its money problems, which she chronicled for five years in her reality TV.
