Autonomous presidents, political leaders, ministers and representatives of the Government have attended the event for the European Day of the Victims of Terrorism, presided over by the Kings of Spain. Before the tribute began, the public representatives took the opportunity to talk quietly without noticing that some of the ambient microphones were recording their talks.
In one of those conversations was the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, accompanied by the president of the PP, Pablo Casado, and the leaders of Castilla-La Mancha and Castilla y León, Emiliano García-Page and Alfonso Fernández Mañueco. The microphones have captured the conversation and it has immediately spread through the networks.
“Between you and Alfonso you have broken my life,” Ayuso is heard saying, addressing Page. Moments before, Casado had asked him if he was from Ávila, and after the devastating phrase of the Madrid president, he replied: “Alfonso has to put up with it, the poor guy … because he’s from the party”. After the intervention of the leader of the PP, Ayuso retakes: “But my town is in Avila and my family in Toledo.”

– An a priori conversation without much meaning. However, this talk comes hours after the vice president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Francisco Igea, said that he does not believe that the Community of Madrid fails to comply with the measure to maintain the perimeter closure in the Bridge of San José and Holy Week. Hence Ayuso was referring to the perimeter closures of the communities in preparation for the Easter festivities. Thus, Igea has instigated in a press conference after the Governing Council, which does not believe that the Madrid Minister of Health will skip a mandatory measure and has stressed that the measures to coordinate this perimeter closure correspond to the Executive, therefore that it will be the Government Delegation in the Community who will have to address this issue. Likewise, Igea recalled that “it is a mandatory order” and does not believe that “people match these things”, in reference to the position of the Community of Madrid with avoiding the perimeter closure. –
