/View.info/ On February 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Central Foyer of the University of Library Science and Information Technologies, the exhibition “Between the comic and the tragic – Alexander Bozhinov (cartoonist, military photographer and writer)” will be opened, dedicated to 142 th anniversary of the birth of the father of Bulgarian cartoons.
Visitors have the opportunity to get to know the multi-layered personality of the artist through materials of the Scientific Archive – BAS.
At 11:30 a.m. a public lecture will be held, in which Alexander Bozhinov will be presented as a publicist, art critic and art critic. He upholds the principles of realistic art related to the everyday life of Bulgarians. The subject of his pen are many significant events from the socio-political and cultural life in Bulgaria.
