For three years, Alicia Sarah has been managing the Facebook page “Les amoureux du voyage”. It already brings together nearly 100,000 people who share holiday memories every day.
She knows travel, and she knows it quite well!
Alicia Sarah is a true globetrotter. Aged 34 and originally from Isère, she was first a cook. But her passion for travel was too strong and she is now an employee in a travel agency in Lagnieux (Ain)!
A devouring passion that even pushed him to create, about three years ago, a Facebook page called “Les amoureux du voyage”.
“It’s my love for travel that made me create this Facebook page. There are several goals: sharing your vacations, giving ideas for destinations, advising and helping future travelers and giving good tips.”

Although Alicia thought of this page as a place to share her holiday memories with her friends, she did not, however, anticipate today’s success.
Travel lovers now count nearly 100,000 members who each week share their photos, advice and good deals on a destination.
“At first, I just wanted to share my adventures with my loved ones. And then, my friends invited friends, who invited other people, and it had a snowball effect. I really want people who have the same passion and who are kind. It’s a nice surprise for me, I’m really happy.”
Where to go next summer?
But as summer vacations come to an end for many, it may be time (already) to think about a next destination. That’s good, Alicia has a few ideas for a change of scenery and a change of scenery:
“My favorite is Polynesia. I went there three years ago and I loved it. Afterwards, for people who want to go less far or who have a smaller budget, I also recommend the Greek islands or Minorca.”
