In Juchitan, the row reached about 2 kilometers to enter the Technological Institute of the Isthmus (ITI), so some teachers had to wait three to four hours to get the reinforcement.
“We got up early and it was worth it, right now there is a lot of contagion of omicron, it is better to prevent it,” said Rosa María López, a teacher from Juchitán.
This Wednesday, teachers from Unión Hidalgo, El Espinal, Santa María Xadani, Reforma de Pineda, Ingenio Santo Domingo, among other towns, also came to receive the vaccine.

For this Thursday and Friday, the arrival of teachers from the Ixtepec, Tehuantepec, Salina Cruz and Matías Romero sectors is expected.
In the Oaxacan capital, the venue was Ciudad Universitaria, where there were rioting, shoving and yelling, in addition to disagreements, due to the fact that a list headed by union representatives from section 22 of the CNTE was supposedly circulated to receive their doses.
“The vaccine favors me, because we have already started face-to-face classes and that is safety for students and parents,” said a teacher who had to wait six hours to receive her dose of Moderna.
