betty blanco is receiving a posthumous honor from the United States Postal Service.
The postal service announced on Friday, November 15, that the iconic actress, who died in 2021 at age 99, will appear on one of the 2025 USPS stamps.
“An icon of American television, Betty White (1922-2021) shared her wit and warmth with viewers for seven decades, including roles in The golden girls y El present de Mary Tyler Moore” the USPS shared in a declaration. “The comedy actress, who won generations of younger fans by the time she turned 90, was also revered as a compassionate animal advocate.”

White died on December 31, 2021, just three weeks before his 100th birthday. His cause of death was revealed on January 11, 2022, which was a stroke he suffered six days earlier at his home in Los Angeles.
