It’s also perhaps a bit odd that Bettina was seen as ‘the wife of’, as she had been in ‘the business’ for quite some time before dating Jim. “It’s probably an ego thing, but I’m glad I’m now a little more known for who I am and what I can and do.”
For those who still don’t know: Bettina is a (musical) actress. She sings and dances just like Jim does. The two got to know each other years ago, because they had the lead roles in the musical Grease played.
But how come, according to Bettina, people know her better now? “But because I now show myself more on social media. My work has not changed, but I am more visible, people can now see who the person behind the role is. That helps.” And indeed, Bettina shares everything on social media; from holidays to daily struggles that everyone experiences.
