Colombian star Shakira considered, in her first television interview since the release of a popular song, attacking her former life partner, soccer player Gerard Pique, that her songs are “the best treatment, and it is more effective than a session with a psychoanalyst or psychiatrist.”
In a half-hour interview on Mexican television, Shakira said that recording the song was a “breather” for her.
She added, “I entered the studio in one psychological state and left in another. The recording was an excellent and necessary outlet for my recovery and recovery process.”
Shakira continued, “I think I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for this song.”
She recounted that it was her 10-year-old son, Milan, who suggested that she cooperate with Argentine producer Bizarab to record a song.
Pique, 36, and Shakira announced last June their separation after they lived together for about 11 years, during which they had two sons, Milan and Sasha.
