Cyber burglars have developed a new method to steal data from iPhone. They create fake keyboards that successfully imitate the ones from Apple. The method uses one of Apple’s services and is dangerously simple to implement.

The method uses TestFlight service – a mechanism created by Apple that allows developers testing pre-release applications in beta for iPhone, iPad and other Apple devices. Criminals came up with the idea of using TestFlight to upload malicious keyboard applications. The threat is serious because of fake keyboards they look identical like the default one from iOS.
Specialists from Certo Software warn that this method is very easy for burglars to implement, and their victims many users have already died Apple phones. Attack method applies all iPhone models, leverages an existing iOS feature and does not require any special technical skills on the part of hackers. TestFlight allows them to bypassing security implemented in the AppStore.
To check if a keylogger keyboard is installed on your Apple phone, go to Settings > General > Keyboards. There you should check your keyboards, especially the ones you have full access to user data.
