Betrayal! A 20 year old man signs an export contract and earns a turnover of IDR 500 million

M. Rafi Alfiansyah Sondakh, or better known as Rafi Sondakh, has succeeded in proving that young age is not an obstacle. Born on March 24, 2004, Rafi has made a name for himself as one of the young people who have successfully exported Indonesian products.

At only 20 years old, Rafi has successfully exported 3 times this year, and received a 1 year contract with a turnover of IDR 500 million to export to Saudi Arabia every month. Rafi has also sent samples to different countries such as Germany, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Rafi’s journey towards export was not easy. Starting in 2022, he decided to enter the world of exports by trying his luck in the coconut fiber export business. However, ignorance of the market caused this first export business to fail.

After learning from his mistakes, Rafi then moved into coconut briquette charcoal business which is now his main focus.

Rafi’s struggle did not stop there. He once faced customers from Jordan who showed great interest in his products. Rafi even personally met with the buyer in Indonesia, but unfortunately the negotiations did not end with an agreement.

After 1.5 years of struggle full of twists and turns, he finally succeeded in his first export to Saudi Arabia. An achievement that became a turning point in his business.

“I have a big dream to give Indonesia an image of a reliable country in the world, similar to Singapore. Of course, by always doing business openly, and consistently providing the quality and the best service ever,” said Rafi, who was quoted in a statement, on Sunday (11/8/2024).

Rafi’s success in the world of exports cannot be separated from his constant attitude of communication and innovation. For him, maintaining a good name and continuing to innovate is the key to maintaining and developing a business.

Rafi also stressed the importance of maintaining perspective in all business interactions, which, according to him, is the basis for building trust.

Furthermore, Rafi has a clear vision and mission for his future. He dreams very much that all the products made in Indonesia will be visible to the world.

Rafi wants his business to not only benefit himself, but also benefit the surrounding community. With the principles of openness and consistency in providing the best quality and service, Rafi is confident that he can make his dream come true.

Rafi Sondakh’s achievements at such a young age can surely be an inspiration to many people. It proves that with perseverance, persistence and a positive attitude, anyone can achieve their dreams.
