In the second leg of the round of 16 against Betis Sevilla, the Hessian Bundesliga club is hoping for the next European party this Thursday (9 p.m. / RTL) together with the 25,000 fans admitted. “It’s a highlight for every player,” said Eintracht coach Oliver Glasner (47).
The starting position: After the 2-1 win in the first leg, a draw is enough for Frankfurt to progress. But Glasner made it clear: “We want to offer the fans a nice Europa League evening and will play to win.”
