Betis completed its capital increase of 42.9 million euros after announcing the completion of its process with a final phase that met expectations. The club closes its increase with the incorporation of the 766 members who requested it into the shareholding, while a total of 2,590 new shares were subscribed. These members join the 582 new shareholders who were able to subscribe to shares in the first round by having access to preferential subscription rights from other shareholders, as announced by the club itself. In this way, Betis closes a process that now must give air in the economic aspect as well as at the planning level, being able to register more footballers in LaLiga while waiting for sales to also lead to more market movements this August.
Betis announced the closing of this capital increase through a press release: “The fourth round ended on July 31 with the subscription, by 172 shareholders, of 1,824 shares of the 5,434 offered (33.56%). During Thursday 1 and Friday 2 August, the incidents of this fourth round were resolved and, subsequently, all the pending shares were subscribed between these 766 shareholders and the shareholders who attended the fourth round and complied with the established procedures in time and form to subscribe new shares in this final stage of the capital increase.”
