Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action-adventure game set in modern-day Tokyo, where people have disappeared due to mysterious paranormal phenomena. The player joins forces with a spiritual being who has become an avenger, and explores a city where monsters and ghosts wander. He fights using his ability to manipulate supernatural elements and approaches the truth behind the large-scale disappearance of human bodies. This work will be released for PC (Steam/Epic Games Store)/PS5 in March 2022, and the PC (Microsoft Store)/Xbox Series X|S version was also released in March of this year. On April 12th, a major free update called “Spider’s Thread” was also released, adding content such as new game modes.
On December 28th, a “Sushi” costume was suddenly distributed for this work. It is available for free and has been added to the OUTFIT and COSTUME SET items in the INVENTORY tab of this game’s menu. The rice is large, chewy, and fluffy, and there’s a large shrimp on the back. The motif was probably chosen with the image of a New Year’s feast.
Furthermore, for this work, a “kotatsu” emote was suddenly distributed on December 14th (related article). In conjunction with this sushi costume, it is now possible to create a surreal image of sushi sitting under a kotatsu on the street.
