Bethesda.net has less than a month left online

The time has soon come for Bethesda.net. The game developer’s own platform which they will now scrap to instead go back to offering their game titles via Steam. The information for users on how to prepare for migration has now been updated.

Game developer and publisher Bethesda confirmed earlier this year that it will not stick to its platform called Bethesda.net. This was launched together with the game title Fallout 76 and was the company’s attempt to make a dedicated place for its game titles. In the same vein, games began to be removed from other platforms such as Steam.

Now the time has soon come for the platform and Bethesda is now preparing to shut it down completely. From April 27, users will be able to start migrating their game titles back to Steam.

The platform will be available to access and play games through until May 11. After that, it is important to say thank you and hello to Bethesda.net. Not entirely surprisingly, the developer mentions in his updated information article that the migration to Steam should begin as early as possible. The website also goes through what applies to, for example, user accounts and various game titles’ dedicated currencies that are bought with real money. The game title Fallout 76 has also received one updated FAQ which goes through in more detail what applies to the game title and its players in the future.
