Since its launch in 2018, Fallout 76 has evolved significantly thanks to the continuous efforts of Bethesda. Nevertheless, Todd Howard, executive producer of Bethesda, revealed that Phil Spencer, jefe de Xbox, played a pivotal role in the development of this RPG.
In the own words of Howard:
“When this game was released, we had endless problems… we disappointed a lot of people, and honestly, there were very few things we did well. One of the people I called was Phil Spencer, and I said ‘we have a lot of things to figure out, what do you recommend I do?’
Phil put me in touch with several people at Xbox who were able to discuss various important aspects of the game and compared it to other games that they had made. That kind of advice really helped us, and considering that Fallout 76 is already one of the most played titles on Xbox, we are incredibly grateful to be there. “
Fallout 76 was available in Xbox Game Pass in July 2020, and now with the acquisition of Microsoft, we want to believe that you will continue to be in that service for as long as necessary.
