Halo 3 ODST (2009) also had a hub/open world where you then ended up in separate levels for the actual missions, similar to Halo Infinite.
Halo Infinite also has the longest dev cycle (+ one year delay) of all Halo games. Plus the advantage that co-op gameplay in an open world is no longer a new concept. Co-op isn’t the only thing missing from Halo Infinite, either.
The sooner Halo transfers to another studio the better, imo.
