After a two-year corona break, the satirical program “Beta-Show Deluxe” welcomes photojournalist and ex-SRF “Arena” presenter to its comeback on December 23rd Patrick Rohr and singer Eli Graf. The show takes place in the Theater am Gleis in Winterthur.
The show is moderated by Cyril Keller and side kick Joshua Devadasas announced by the organizers.
An entertaining program awaits the live audience on site from 8.10 p.m. A team of 15 people has been working on the December 23 broadcast since June. In addition to a new studio setting, various small and large segments as well as a researched topic focus await the audience, as always. “We are happy that with the certificate and despite strict Corona measures we can finally produce a program with a live audience again,” said the project manager Lukas Blatter.
“Beta Show Deluxe” is a 45-minute satirical format. It consists of a stand-up on current topics from the world, some varying segments as well as a longer topic focus and an interview with the studio guest.
The program is designed for a young target audience, targeted and optimized for those channels through which young people can be found. “Beta-Show Deluxe” wants to “lead the genre of satire programs into the 21st century”, as it is called.
Thanks to the partnership between the “Beta Show Deluxe” and the Winterthur youth broadcaster TV4TNG, the “Beta Show Deluxe” will be broadcast across Switzerland on Swisscom TV. You can also receive them on the YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter channels.
Because of Corona, the team has refrained from broadcasting live for the past two years. In the meantime, the Beta-Show Deluxe association has instead produced two seasons of the weekly format “Beta-Show Weekly” with the moderation team Cyril Keller, Desiree Draxl and Benedict Kaiser.
Started as an interesting thought among students, today there is a small but fine team of creative minds behind what, according to its own statements, is “probably the most innovative show in Switzerland”.
