“Bestioles”, a new podcast for children, from France Inter.

France Inter and the National Museum of Natural History present a new creation of a youth podcast, “BESTIOLES”, a journey through the animal world.

This podcast carried and documented by journalist Stéphanie Fromentin and scientifically supervised by Guillaume Lecointre, teacher-researcher at the Museum, invites you to discover original animal species.

“Whether large or small, whether they live near us or in distant ecosystems, these animals experience extraordinary adventures every day as they feed, build their habitats or care for their young.

In each episode, Denis Cheissoux in the narration (producer for the CO2 emissions mon amour & L’as-tu lu mon p’tit loup) and Brigitte Lecordier in the animal sound effects, tell us these stories with a double objective: to raise awareness of the richness of this biodiversity which surrounds us in a fun and scientific way.

Thanks to the rich collaborations of youth authors, storytellers and animated film directors, the texts take the child to an often inaccessible world, sometimes near a seahorse, a marmot, an orangutan, sometimes near a sea urchin or a kangaroo: ten episodes (out of 30) available for this launch, ten species selected with scientific rigor and magic of the story.

At the very end of the episode, the young listener will discover, thanks to a MCQ, an unusual word related to the animal. A word which resonates like an exotic object in his ears and which will embark him even more in the adventurous, singular and full of surprises world of “Critters” “.

To be found on the sites and applications of France Inter, Radio France, as well as on iTunes, Spotify, Deezer and the site of the National Museum of Natural History.
