NEW YORK – The debate over where to find the best food in New York City is a never-ending exercise in balancing the wallet and ending hunger.
It’s nearly impossible to agree on who cooks the best plate of food in the Big Apple, but that never breaks the long-standing tradition of ranking which restaurants serve the best food.
Condé Nast’s Traveler magazine has released a new list of what it calls “The 28 Best Restaurants in New York City”.
Curious foodies will note that this list doesn’t rank the restaurants in its top 28 numerically, instead leaving readers with tantalizing images and tantalizing descriptions of these great establishments.
Classic restaurants made it onto the list, of course.
Eateries known far and wide, such as the Michelin-starred Le Bernardin and Katz’s Delicatessen, occupy a couple spots on travellers’ bucket lists.
“Nearly three years after COVID-19 forced the city that never sleeps to dim its lights, New York’s restaurant scene seems to have been the same again,” said writer Devra Ferst.
This collection of restaurants, both old and new, some of which have found success despite opening during the pandemic, offers New Yorkers plenty for the palate.
