A restaurant in Castelldefels (Barcelona) has been chosen as the best in Spain in the premios Just Eat 2022. The food delivery platform has selected the 20 best establishments in the country according to the votes of its users, who have given victory to Home Pizza, an artisan pizza restaurant run by David Varela and Alejandro Moreno in that Catalan town.
“This restaurant can boast of having obtained the votes of hundreds of fans who have wanted to reward the quality of its dishes and excellent service,” highlights the platform about Home Pizza (Carrer del Doctor Marañón, 20, Castelldefels), which has also been won the award for Best Restaurant in Catalonia, Aragon and the Balearic Islands.
Among its most popular dishes are barbecue pizza, prosciutto and garlic bread.
The award for Best Spanish Food Restaurant went to Las Murallas Villa (Calle del Concejo, 7, Collado Villalba). It has from the traditional ham croquettes to other proposals such as the Chickenvilla sandwich.
The award for Best American went to La Tremenda (Carrer de la Font Vella, 51, Terrassa), for its hamburger of the same name, the Sheldon or yaya Rosa’s fingers.
Another hamburger restaurant, Locco Burger (Calle Salado, 6, Seville), was distinguished with the award for Best New Restaurant, with proposals such as Burger The Purge or gratin potatoes with lots of cheese, BBQ ranch sauce and crispy bacon.
Tandori Masala Indian (Calle Camilo José Cela, 22, Madrid), with its Pilau rice or chicken Tikka Masala, was the winner for Best Indian, while Elote (Calle Bajada de la Libertad, 15, Valladolid) was highlighted as Best Mexican. This establishment has the option of creating your burritos or, for example, what they call Nachos with everything.
In the Best Vegetarian category, the winner was the Vegania restaurant (Calle de Nuestra Señora de la Luz, 62, Madrid). On its menu you can find grilled gyozas with Hoisin sauce, homemade seitan kebap or tequeños, among other dishes.
