The console on offer is the disk version – which we also had available in our review of the PlayStation 5. And what can we say: gaming televisions were made for a console like this! The Sony console supports 4K@120 Hz gaming, ALLM and VRR with ease. In conjunction with compatible Sony televisions, even the perfect setup becomes child’s play – meaning you can also enjoy games in HDR.

The comparison to the Xbox Series X is exciting. Despite the supposedly slightly weaker performance, you won’t notice much of it in everyday life. That’s why we like the PlayStation 5, especially the exclusive titles it offers. And the current Sony console has another ace up its sleeve: the DualSense controller. In addition to many features of previous Sony controllers, adaptive triggers and haptic feedback are also added here.
