We plan to spend a few days in New York. We spotted a hotel in the Bronx. Is the neighborhood really dangerous as often described?

It’s not the worst part of the Bronx, but if you want to visit NYC for only 3 nights on a budget, look to Long Island City in Queens (LIC).
You will find budget hotel formulas and will be, above all, one or two metro stations from Manhattan, in the heart of the city, unlike this address in the Bronx which takes you away from it.
