Former US first lady Michelle Obama has revealed that her daughters are closer than ever. As she revealed on the Today show, they both live under the same roof in Los Angeles.

During an interview with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush on Monday’s Today (Nov. Los Angeles home.
“We were going to take them out to dinner and they were like, ‘Why don’t you come over to our house for a cocktail?’ And we were like, ‘OK, let’s see what he’s going to give.’ The martinis were a little weak. I don’t think they really knew what it was,” she revealed.
Michelle Obama added that the most surprising moment was when Malia and Sasha asked her and Barack Obama to use coasters. “I told them, ‘You’ve never used a coaster in my house. So now that it’s your business, you want to take care of it,” she said.
Malia Obama, 24, works in television in Los Angeles while Sasha, 21, attends the University of Southern California (USC). It was at this school that Sasha Obama met her current boyfriend, Clifton Powell Jr., and her older sister is rumored to be dating producer Dawit Eklund.
“What I like the most is that these two girls are best friends with each other. There was a time when they couldn’t stand each other,” Michelle Obama revealed with emotion.
