But there were few options to find a good car in a relatively low budget, comparable, for example, with the price of the same new Lada Vesta. However, at least one such sedan exists. And he comes from Japan.
We are talking about the fifth generation Lexus ES 350. In the designated budget of about 1 – 1.2 million rubles (it is expected that the new Vesta NG will cost a couple of hundred thousand more), you can count on a car manufactured in 2010-2012.
Its mileage will almost certainly exceed the mark of 150 thousand kilometers, but even this figure for the Japanese 4-door is not a sentence.
The car was equipped with a 3.5-liter Toyota 2GR-FE engine, which by 2010 managed to survive several upgrades that saved it from a number of “diseases”.
With proper maintenance, such an engine is able to overcome more than 300 thousand kilometers, while the resource of the Aisin U760E automatic transmission paired with it averages more than 250 thousand km.
Thus, a used ES, even with runs above 150 thousand kilometers, is able to please its owner not only with trouble-free operation for many years, but also with high dynamics provided by a 277-horsepower unit, as well as a high level of comfort that the new Lada Vesta can only dream of.
