The rainy season makes humidity or water vapor higher. Although generally pleasant because the water reserves in the highlands will increase so as not to cause drought, the rainy season can also make a person suffer from flu.

1. Dengue fever

3. Diarrhea

This widespread intestinal disease is caused due to unhygienic consumption of food and water. Diarrhea is a disease that can be prevented and treated if one is careful.

There are two kinds of diarrhea, acute and chronic, both of which can be treated. Drinking boiled water and consuming clean home foods are the best ways to prevent this disease.

4. Typhus

A waterborne disease, typhoid is usually caused by poor sanitation. This means consumption of food and water that is cooked or stored in poor sanitation. This S. typhi bacteria causes typhus.

Fever, headache, weakness, pain and sore throat are some of the symptoms of typhus. Carrying hand sanitizer at all times, refraining from consuming roadside snacks and drinking healthy fluids will help you prevent typhus.

5. Fever

Fever is a common symptom throughout the year, but is most common during the rainy season. Severe fever, runny nose and cough are some of the common symptoms. This may take from 3-7 days. However, it is always good to consult your doctor before diagnosing anything.
