The police at Lyngseidet were notified on Sunday night of several fights at a nightclub. While the patrol was on the scene, they witnessed a very drunk man fall into the river.
The patrol had to throw itself into the water to rescue the person. He was taken to the emergency room for a check and then driven home.
The fights at the nightclub did not lead to serious injuries, but a couple of people were supervised at the emergency room.
It is unclear at this time whether the incidents will have repercussions in the form of reviews.
