Around the middle of April, the athletes realized that the cars would not be in time to be serviced and prepared for the European season. As the delivery date approached, the surprises began. It was hoped that the cars would arrive sooner than planned, but they arrived later and the pick-up times were always changed.

Edgars Krogeris, who, it turns out, had been secretly building a new car all winter, decided not to wait and hope for the container’s arrival on time, but to try to finish the new car before the deadline by connecting his entire team. The new car was finished on Saturday, followed by the first tests, then fine-tuning and tests on Sunday, and the final works on Sunday night. On Sunday night, the Kroger team started its journey to Spain with the new car and has now successfully arrived at the destination to prepare for the competition.
