Bradley Biel, a member of the team of Dāvis Bertāns and Anžeja Pasečņiks, will not participate in the final tournament of the 2019/2020 season of the National Basketball Association, reports the Washington “Wizards”.
According to the unit, Bill received an injury to the right arm shoulder rotator cuff.
“Bradley did his best to be able to play, but after additional tests in individual classes, we came to the conclusion that it would be better for him not to participate in games in Orlando to avoid serious injury,” admits club general manager Tommy Shepard.
Bill already felt discomfort in the shoulder during the season and worked with the team doctors to prevent injury from playing. During the break in the season, the symptoms became more pronounced, and Bill began rehabilitation with the goal of returning to the field. The American defender will not go to Orlando with the team and will continue the process of healing the injury.
At the end of the season, Biel, with an average of 30.5 points per game in the NBA’s list of top performers, was only behind James Harden, who scored an average of 36.7 points. Bill also scored an average of 6.1 assists in one match.
It has already been reported that Bertāns, who will become a free agent in the autumn, will not play in the final tournament of the season. The Washington team will also have to do without John Wool.
The Wizards are ninth in the Western Conference, but the top eight are six wins away. The US capital team has little hope of playing in the playoffs.

The NBA season will resume on July 31 with 22 teams meeting at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.
