In the Oslo district court ruling, it is also stated that Hulsker was sentenced to pay a fine of NOK 15,000, as well as NOK 5,000 in court costs to the public.

The 18 days in prison are sentenced to a two-year probationary period. The prosecutor had asked for the sentence to be suspended for 24 days.

Hulsker, 45, was found guilty on both counts. He was accused of hate speech and reckless behavior towards goalkeeper Jwan Rasho during a VGTV Christmas table displayed at the crown at Sing more karaoke bar in Oslo on March 10 this year.

According to the indictment, Hulsker called a goalkeeper a “damn nigger”.

Hulsker is also accused of saying “How can you ask a white out” when asked to leave the karaoke bar.

When the indictment was read, the former footballer and TV personality pleaded guilty to reckless behavior, but not to hate speech.
