The “Autopsy” evening ended at the Mille Club nightclub in Bernolsheim, about twenty kilometers north of Strasbourg.
Around 5 a.m. on Friday, November 1, firefighters were called there to rescue a 21-year-old young man who had just received a stab in the chest.
Despite the rapid arrival of help, the man succumbed to his injuries and the doctor pronounced him dead in the parking lot where he had collapsed. He was from Ostwald, south of Strasbourg.
Criminal identification technicians from the gendarmerie went to the scene. Once their work was done, the soldiers were able to lift the bodies early in the morning.

From horror film set to crime scene
For this Halloween evening, the Mille Club had reproduced a horror film setting. On the square, smashed cars, reddened sheets, bottles of fake blood, a coffin… must have made the customers shudder.
When the revelers had left, there remained in the early morning, in the middle of the parking spaces, a real crime scene. Around a small black car, we could still see traces of blood. Terry towels were placed on its roof. Waste medical equipment was lying on the ground.
A nightclub that “does not pose a particular problem”
For the mayor of Bernolsheim, Jean-Marie Dierse, this large nightclub of 1,500 m² – formerly called the Komplex or the Cube – does not pose “particularly a problem”. In any case “no more than any other”.
“We haven’t had any particular problems lately. We had the impression that “the manager” had taken steps to ensure security inside. But this happened in the parking lot…”
An 18-year-old young man presented himself to the police
The Strasbourg public prosecutor’s office has opened a murder investigation. The investigations were entrusted to the Haguenau research brigade. The alleged perpetrator of the stabbing, a young man of 18, presented himself to the police at the end of the day. He was taken into custody.
