Bernetz: the professional network program for qualified migrants in the city of Bern

Bernetz is a professional networking program run by the city of Bern. It is aimed at qualified migrants who do not yet have a job that matches their qualifications. Bernetz’s goal is to open doors for migrants so that they can optimally contribute their know-how to the local job market and gain a foothold in the professional world.

The program lasts 10 months, from January to October of the current year. The participants first go through a training program and are thus prepared for the requirements of the Swiss labor market. The training program consists of 8 modules and 4 workshops, which take place in the evenings and on weekends and can also be attended part-time. The participants are then networked with specialists from their own professional field. In this way, you can build your personal professional network and gain valuable information about the requirements of your industry as well as important insights into everyday working life. Anyone interested can register for the 2023 cycle from October 1st to November 15th, 2022. Further information can be found at: www.bern.ch/bernetz
