Bernardinho Calls Brazilian Men’s Volleyball Team for League of Nations: Complete List of Players Announced

Bernardinho’s first call for the Brazilian men’s volleyball team. The Brazilian Confederation (CBV), late Monday afternoon (15/4), released the list for the League of Nations (VNL), the only international competition before the Paris Olympic Games.

The first group of 12 was called and two other guests. It includes players who are involved in the Superliga has ended. The news is the return of Douglas Souza, who left the team after participating in the Tokyo Games (after the list was published, the player announced that he will not answer the call. See the link).

Among the names that are absent is that of Wallace, from Sada Cruzeiro, who stopped the announced retirement from the Seleção when Renan Dal Zotto died, at a time where there were several losses in the position due to injury

The show at the Saquarema Training Center was scheduled for Monday (22/4). Then, the names of athletes who will play outside of Brazil and the eliminated teams in the Superliga semifinals will be announced. The final of the national competition will only take place on April 28. Brazil starts in the VNL on May 21, against Cuba, at Maracanãzinho, in Rio de Janeiro.
