Bernard Tapie and his wife were victims on the last night of a violent assault. Four individuals entered the couple’s home in the Paris region and beat and tied the two. Both the former Marseille president and Dominique were injured.
“We cannot speak, it is not possible,” said Dominique Tapie to RTL, adding that the two had “several bruises”. The wife of the former French leader was transported to the hospital. Tapie refused this assistance, staying at the residence. The investigations were handed over to the Versailles judicial police.
