The former Prime Minister and former mayor of Cherbourg-Octeville (Manche), will be in Seine-et-Marne on Friday September 1, 2023. More specifically, the statesman, now 60 years old, will be traveling to Pontault-Combault (Seine-et-Marne) where he will make his political comeback.

The roadmap

A long-time member of the Socialist Party (1987 to 2022), he returned to the forefront of the political scene a few months ago by launching his movement called La Convention. By this creation, the former Prime Minister wished to bring together the lonely social democrats who do not recognize themselves in the Nupes in particular. Supported by various elected officials, including the former Head of State, François Hollande, Bernard Cazeneuve had carried out a first meeting noticed in Créteil last June.

For his political comeback, it is in Pontault-Combault that the latter has chosen to intervene. “I joined his movement very quickly, underlines, moreover, Gilles Bord, the mayor of Pontault-Combault, who left the PS 2 years ago. It shows that another way is possible on the left. This public meeting will perhaps be the beginning of a great story”.

Bernard Cazeneuve should discuss his roadmap for the next few years, even for the next elections.

Information Friday, September 1 at 7:30 p.m., Madame Sans-Gêne room, 107 avenue de la République. Free admission
