The boss of the French luxury giant is no longer on the podium of the Bloomberg ranking of the biggest fortunes on the planet, overtaken by Mark Zuckerberg.
Bernard Arnault leaves the podium of billionaires. Still at the head from Bloomberg ranking of the world’s richest people at the beginning of the summer, the boss of the French luxury giant LVMH now occupies only fourth place after being overtaken by the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg. According to the Bloomberg index, Bernard Arnault’s fortune now stands at 185 billion dollars, three billion less than that of Mark Zuckerberg.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk tops the Bloomberg ranking with an estimated fortune of $235 billion, followed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, whose fortune is $193 billion.

Overtaken by Mark Zuckerberg
Bernard Arnault was still at the top of the Bloomberg ranking last June, but the French boss had lost two places in the wake of the dissolution of the National Assembly. Emmanuel Macron’s decision had shaken up the Paris Stock Exchange and the LVMH group, the largest capitalization of the Parisian market, had not been spared, leading to a parallel decline in Bernard Arnault’s assets.
Mark Zuckerberg, for his part, saw his fortune increase by more than 55 billion dollars in a year according to Bloomberg, benefiting from the rise in the stock price of Meta – the majority of his fortune comes from a stake in Facebook’s parent company.
