Bern, Langnau and Biel do not have a good Friday evening. None of the three Bern teams won in this round. The home team wins four out of five games. The facts about Friday’s round.

The Mutzen simply cannot win away from home against Lausanne: Lausanne celebrated its tenth win in its last eleven home games against Bern. Damien Riat turned 0-1 (11th) into 2-1 (16th) with two goals within 149 seconds. The 1-1 was the first power play goal for the Vaudois team in the current championship. Waltteri Merelä saved the Bernese team by scoring 2-2 (55′) in extra time. Thanks to a goal from Janne Kuokkanen (63rd), the LHC still celebrated in the end. While Lausanne returned to success after two defeats, Bern lost for the fourth time in a row.
ZSC wins thanks to Rohrer
As expected, the ZSC Lions set the tone in the home game against the SCL Tigers, which underlines the shot ratio of 42:21. However, they sinned in the end and Langnau keeper Stéphane Charlin was in top form. Only Vinzenz Rohrer had to admit defeat; the 20-year-old Austrian was successful in the 31st minute after a wonderful solo. For the Lions, goalkeeper Robin Zumbühl had his first shutout in the National League. Although ZSC still has to wait for its first power play goal of the season, it defeated Emmental for the eighth time in a row.
There was only one goal in the game between the Tigers and ZSC.
Ambri is working overtime again
If Ambri-Piotta plays, an extension is, so to speak, inevitable. The Leventiners played overtime for the fourth time in the fifth game of the season and won for the second time. The decisive goal to make it 2-1 in front of the home crowd against Biel was scored after 46 seconds of overtime by Finnish defender Jesse Virtanen, who scored for the third time in the current championship. Ambri won for the third time in a row. Last season, the North Ticino team lost all three home games against Biel.
Kloten continues to surprise
Kloten, second in the table, started the season with few laurels, which makes the results so far all the more surprising. The Zurich Unterländer achieved their fourth victory with a 5-2 win against Fribourg-Gottéron in the fifth game; their only defeat was in a penalty shootout (in Ambri). Against Friborg they scored the first two goals to make it 2-0 in the power play, and after 33 minutes the hosts led 4-0. Miro Aaltonen stood out as a double goalscorer. Friborg suffered its fourth defeat in a row.
Ajoie still winless
Ajoie signed three top Finnish strikers this season, Oulve Palve, Jerry Turkulainen and Julius Nättinen, in order to finally move away from the bottom of the table in the fourth season after promotion. So far there remains hope. The Jurassians suffered their fifth defeat in the current championship with the 1:3 against Zug in the fifth game, the goal difference is 8:23. In their first away game of the season, Zug led 3-0 after 22 minutes thanks to goals from Sven Leuenberger (3rd), Lino Martschini (14th) and Elia Riva and left nothing to be desired. Ajoie also left the ice as a loser in the seventh home game against EVZ since promotion.
