A pedestrian suffered serious leg injuries in a traffic accident in Berlin-Weißensee on Tuesday afternoon. The police announced on Wednesday morning.
According to previous information from the police, a 59-year-old woman was driving her car on Berliner Allee in the direction of Pistoriusstrasse. At the level of Indira-Gandhi-Straße there was then a collision with the 53-year-old pedestrian. The reasons for the collision are still unclear, the police reported.
The declared rescue workers took the seriously injured and the shocked woman to a hospital. The 53-year-old had to undergo an operation. The specialist commissioner for traffic offenses had taken over the investigation, it said.
