ADHS presents his new single “Kerala”
The name A.D.H.S. has been making eyes light up in the techno scene for a long time, more precisely since 2018. That was when the Berlin-based DJ and producer released music for the first time. He then made his breakthrough in 2022 with his first solo track “Zulu”, which entered the German and Dutch Spotify Viral Top 50 and the Beatport Top 10.
Now we have 2024 and A.D.H.S. has a new single out, fortunately for all techno fans and those who want to become one. “Kerala” is his label debut on Warner Music Central Europe and processes the experiences the artist had on his last tour through India:
“‘Kerala’ encompasses all my emotions and experiences from my last tour of India. Between the weekends when I performed, I stayed with a local host family. Every morning I did an hour-long meditation exercise with the grandfather of the family. A man who has been in a wheelchair since childhood. He has been teaching meditation for over 20 years. This peaceful and beautiful encounter gave me an enormous amount of energy and emotions, which I captured in this piece of music.”

Meditation power meets club ecstasy
“Kerala” is a track that celebrates opposites and creates pure club magic. Here, deep meditation meets the raw energy of the dance floor. A.D.H.S. lets traditional Indian meditation chants collide with hypnotic frequency modulations, while “Dagagagagaga” chants combine with razor-sharp synths and driving handclaps to create an unstoppable stream of escalating beats. The centerpiece is a bone-dry psytrance bassline that could have come straight from Berlin’s darkest techno catacombs. “Kerala” is a wild clash between the raw sounds of the urban jungle and the colorful cultural influences of the world – a track that will not only stir your soul, but also the blood in the veins of the grandfather in the Indian host family of A.D.H.S. to pulsate. Only in case the previous meditation session was successful, of course.
So whether you are looking for the peace of meditation or want to be captivated by the driving beats, “Kerala” provides the soundtrack for both and is now available everywhere. Get the powerful fusion of tradition and modernity directly in your playlist and let yourself be inspired by A.D.H.S. take you on a musical journey that will never let you go.
